ATELIER 5000®, the car reconditioning specialist
The Bernard Group and the Charles André Group combined their skills to open Atelier 5000, a used vehicle reconditioning centre in Corbas (FR69), on the TEA Lyon site.
Atelier 5000® is situated on the premises of TEA Lyon, a GCA subsidiary that specializes in automotive logistics. The workshop is part of a project to refurbish 15,000 used vehicles annually, 80% of which are Bernard Group vehicles. It is a renovated building equipped with state-of-the-art technology, such as the Proovstation® scanner (for vehicle inspection assisted by Artificial Intelligence) and the latest generation of paint booths.
Atelier 5000® is divided into five areas: inspection, mechanics, bodywork, cosmetic preparation, and the photo laboratory. This structure ensures compliance with industry procedures and enhances the professionalism of car reconditioning.
Atelier 5000® will employ approximately one hundred people, primarily in the fields of mechanics, bodywork, painting, and diagnostics. There are still vacancies available for all types of contracts, including sandwich courses.
Atelier 5000® was created through a partnership between two French family groups with complementary expertise. GCA, an expert in the logistics of new and used vehicles, is responsible for inbound and outbound transport for this new activity, which was launched at the beginning of October 2023. The Bernard Group is contributing its expertise in used vehicles and car repairs, as well as supplying spare parts and tyres.
