Transports Caillot joins the Charles André Group
GCA has finalized today the acquisition of Transports Caillot, a family company specialized in road transport, logistics and co-packing.
Caillot employs more than 800 people. Its headquarters is near Reims for 60 years. Its 12 regional platforms are based mainly on the North-East quarter of France, and they represent more than 250,000 m² of warehouses. They are intended for unbundling, storage, co-packing and co-manufacturing activities. Caillot’s activity is spread over diversified sectors of activity such as retail , wine & spirits, packaging, automotive.
In 2022, the Caillot Group achieved a turnover of nearly 80 million euros.
Founded in 1932, and currently headed by Delphine André, the founder’s granddaughter, GCA operates on the entire supply chain in fields such as aeronautics, food, automotive, construction and minerals, chemistry, defense, energy, environment, rail and urban logistics.
This acquisition increases GCA’s areas of expertise.
In 2022, GCA had a turnover of €1.5 billion and employed 9,500 people in 15 countries.
In addition to a strong entrepreneurial spirit and values that fuel long-term partnerships, these two French family businesses have many things in common.
